Last month, Mike Regitz of RegitzMauck PLLC was invited to speak at the monthly meeting of the Brazos County Bar Association. The presentation, entitled “Intellectual Property for Non-IP Lawyers,” was given at Ninfa’s Mexican Restaurant in College Station, Texas.
The presentation provided Brazos Country Bar Association practitioners with an overview of intellectual property concepts, including how to secure, protect, and enforce intellectual property rights such as patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Mike also identified and dispelled some of the more common misconceptions about intellectual property that the general public and lawyers often have in relation to the intellectual property categories that were discussed during the presentation.
